The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors voted last night to move forward with a longshot plan for the County to secede from the state of California. The concept, put forward in a July meeting by Jeff Burum, a real estate developer from Rancho Cucomonga, has gained traction among board members, who feel that San Bernardino County is contributing more to the state than it is receiving in return. The measure was approved to be on the ballot at a short Supervisors meeting last night.
